This poster design for a fashion show event was an exciting project that went through several iterations before reaching its final form. The centrepiece of the design—a striking illustration of a model walking the runway—captures the essence of the event and immediately grabs attention. The background was created by distorting spray paint patterns on a canvas, resulting in a textured and dynamic foundation. Balancing the colours was a fun process, as I carefully chose hues that complemented the background while ensuring the illustration stood out. I added a QR code for ticket access and incorporated the Style Assembly logo, pairing it with fonts that seamlessly fit the design. A few clean lines were used to separate sections, and I wrapped up the poster by including all the necessary logos and refining the layout to perfection.
This poster design was a truly rewarding project, as it was the first where I had full creative freedom, provided it showcased all key event details. Created for a skateboarding event packed with activities like grip tape workshops, snacks, and stalls, the design leans heavily on bold illustrations. The right side features a striking graphic of a foot on a skateboard, instantly communicating the event’s focus. Bold, oversized text ensures the information is clear, even from a distance. A unique touch includes DJ names cleverly integrated into a headphone wire, adding a creative flair. Hidden logos and text throughout the design give it a cool skater vibe, while dynamic background lines mimic the motion of the skateboard, enhancing energy and engagement.
This poster was designed for a Girls Skate Night at Ralph’s House, giving me the opportunity to dive deeper into my illustrative side. The central illustration features a skater on a skateboard, and to add more visual interest, I created a border filled with skateboards, skates, and tickets. A dark pink circle behind the skater ensures the illustration pops against the design. Although this was one of my early projects, I feel the placement of event details, such as the date, description, and donation information, worked well. The unique title font has an urban feel, perfectly complementing the skate culture vibe.
This poster design was an absolute joy to create, from the initial concept to the final touches. Designed for a client who is a social media entrepreneur and creative powerhouse, the goal was to reflect her supportive one-to-one sessions, creative events, and community-driven mission. Inspired by a chalkboard theme, the playful yet calming design uses soft pink tones and school-inspired illustrations to create a sense of learning and creativity. Choosing the perfect chalk texture was key—it had to look authentic, not messy! The final touches included both my logo and the client’s, tying everything together with a cohesive chalk effect.
This passion project was created for an August event I felt deeply connected to after seeing their original poster. The bold, cartoon-style illustration is the centrepiece of the design, drawing attention to the football—a key symbol of the fundraiser. The curved field adds realism, while the textured sky fills the space beautifully without overwhelming the composition. Event details frame the design as a border, adding interest while keeping the focus central. Bold lettering at the top highlights the event, and a banner at the bottom provides crucial information such as the date, location, donation entry, Instagram handle, and a QR code for tickets.
This poster design was an exciting project where I worked with a client-provided image, developing a cohesive and visually striking design. The concept focused on a black-and-white aesthetic, with the subject’s blue eyes serving as a standout feature, carried through the poster for a bold, cohesive look. Created for a Manchester gig, the design ensured all key information was clear and easy to read. Using generative AI, I extended the image to fit the poster dimensions, then refined the design in Photoshop. Incorporating the client’s logo and stage name in the same blue tone tied everything together, resulting in a sleek, professional finish.

This commission was another exciting design for a pinball fanatic and her YouTube community to use after watching one of her videos. The scorecard was themed around the movie Alien, challenging players to decide what’s better: the movie or the pinball machine. Designing this was so much fun, from choosing the colour palette to selecting the fonts. I incorporated illustrations inspired by Alien, including the iconic eggs and elements from vintage movie posters. Pinball flippers and a “Press Start to Play” gaming-style font added a playful touch. Balancing creative details with clear, visible rating numbers was key to its success, and I finished the design with a friendly “Thank you for playing along” message to echo classic pinball machines.
This commission was a unique and creative project—a scorecard designed for a YouTube community of pinball enthusiasts. The theme centred on “What’s better: the movie or the pinball machine?” for Pulp Fiction. The design was great fun to create, as it incorporated so many different elements and challenged me to ensure the numbers were clear and visible throughout. Inspired by custom pinball machines shared by the client, I included features like flippers, bumpers, arrows, and point scores. To keep the Pulp Fiction vibe, I added an illustration of the iconic duo in the centre, paired with text styled in the movie’s signature font. The tagline “Bad Mother Flipper” added a clever, humorous nod. A cohesive colour palette and a plastic film overlay tied the design together seamlessly.
This poster was designed for a local charity to be displayed on food donation boxes in supermarkets and other public spaces. The background ties into the charity’s logo, using a re-imagined colour palette while maintaining the brand’s identity. To complement this, illustrations of ideal food donations, such as long-life produce, were included to visually guide donors. The charity’s logo was made prominent to ensure people immediately recognise who they’re supporting. Key information, like the types of items to donate and a brief explanation of the charity’s work, is clearly laid out. The bold “Donate Me” header grabs attention, while social media details, the charity number, and funding regulator logos were added to ensure trust and easy engagement.
This poster was designed for Helping Hearts, a community-focused organization dedicated to supporting individuals across Blackpool and the Fylde. It highlights their extensive range of services, including crisis support, food banks, clothing banks, counseling, therapy, and much more. The design features a QR code for donations, enabling the community to contribute to sustaining these vital services and helping those in need. It also includes the logo of their funding regulator to ensure transparency and meet legal requirements. This poster represents the values I stand for—supporting my community, helping those facing difficult times, and providing them with the tools to get back on their feet. Designed for display in community hubs, food banks, clothing banks, and local stores, it aims to raise awareness and encourage support for this essential cause.
This poster was created during my early days of designing, using Canva before I had access to advanced software like Adobe. It was for a band that needed adaptable posters where tour dates could be added later by the members. I created an eerie theme with dark colours and shadowy textures, evoking the feel of an unwelcoming, hellish place while balancing it with light, inviting elements to convey the excitement of a tour. Their preferred illustration was incorporated into both iterations to ensure consistency. Once the base was finalised, we added the band’s name, logos, and advised on font choices and ideal placements for tour dates.

This design was created for a mental health foundation supporting alternative musicians who have struggled with mental health or lost their lives to it. The project aligned with my values and passion for this cause, stemming from my love of alternative music. I designed five poster iterations for their “Roll 100 Miles in August” fundraising event, encouraging participants to bring skateboards, bikes, or scooters. Sticking to their brand colours, fonts, and assets, I crafted a visually striking layout using impactful imagery to capture attention. Though the designs weren’t used, this project was a meaningful opportunity to support a cause close to my heart.

This poster was a passion project that pushed me out of my comfort zone to explore new artistic styles. Inspired by the powerful word “Progress,” which resonates deeply with my local town’s crest and my own personal growth, I experimented with a funky font and abstract shapes to bring the design to life. Using cohesive colours, I aimed to give the poster its own distinct feel. As one of my first passion projects not tied to an event, this piece represents creativity and exploration. If revisited, I’d refine the design further, incorporating details like shadowing to elevate its depth and my skills.
This poster was created for a weekly jam night held every Thursday at a local music venue. The open mic event invited new musicians to perform using in-house equipment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The client wanted a cabaret-inspired design, so red was used as the central colour. Created in Canva, the design features glowing accents, table lamp elements, and an arch layout to evoke the ambience of a cabaret stage. A spotlight at the top highlights key details like the weekly schedule. Although the project wasn’t finalised, it reflects my early design journey and creative growth using limited tools.

This poster was created for the band Beneath Waves to announce their new single, Constellations. It features bold “OUT NOW” text to grab attention, paired with an outlined font for the single’s title for added contrast. The band’s name and logo are positioned below, ensuring strong branding. The background combines an image chosen by the band with a semi-opaque overlay of the members to create depth and cohesion, enhanced by a subtle smoke effect for added atmosphere. The footer lists where fans can find the band, completing the design. As one of my earliest works, it highlights the progress I’ve made since my Canva days.
This poster for Beneath Waves promotes their single, Drowning in the Moonlight, with “NEW SINGLE OUT NOW” featured at the bottom in a bold font matching their band name, and their logo placed above. The title takes center stage at the top, with the band’s name in complementary typography below. The background blends a glowing night sky, an illuminated moon, a serene ocean, and the boat from the single’s cover, tied together with a soft moonlit glow reflecting on the water. Finished with my logo, the design captured the band’s vision and left them thrilled with the result.
This poster was created for a Valentine’s-themed Paint and Sip event at a local music venue, combining illustration and design in one of my first iPad projects. Though the event didn’t go ahead, this design holds a special place for marking my early steps into graphic design. The main illustration features heart characters with faces, adding personality and creating a playful, loving vibe throughout the design. The pink colour palette and elements like paintbrushes and wine glasses reflect the event’s romantic and creative theme. A bold “Paint and Sip” title ties it all together, alongside the date, address, and a QR code for easy ticket access.
This poster, created for Morecambe Calling Presents, promotes the annual Best of Britain vs America event at the Alhambra Theatre each September. The design sets the perfect vibe for a high-energy tribute event, combining a black-and-white stage background with ripped paper textures for a raw, edgy aesthetic. A film strip showcases iconic frontmen Liam Gallagher (Oasis), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), and Ian Brown (The Stone Roses), embodying the rock spirit of the show. Tribute band logos are prominently featured alongside key details, including the date, venue, and a QR code for ticket purchases. Bold and dynamic, this design captures the excitement of the event while delivering all essential information with a polished, professional touch.

This poster, designed for a friend’s end-of-year gig assignment at the Blackpool School of Arts, blends elegance and a regal feel with soft, polished details. Created in Canva, it features the band’s name, Hostyle, with a custom backward slash through the “o” and a red fine font for crucial event details to complement the logo. Logos of the artists whose songs would be covered, the band members’ names, and key details like the venue—Layton Institute—are displayed alongside graphic sparkles and a barbed wire heart framing the logo for added flair. The design is completed with the event date, time, and venue address at the bottom, along with your logo. A highlight of this project was the Hostyle logo being used as the digital backdrop for the entire performance, showcasing its success and versatility.
This poster is an older design I created for a makers market fundraiser held on a sunny day in the park. The design was made to capture the warmth and inviting atmosphere of the event, featuring soft clouds bordering the layout and a bright sunshine illustration front and centre. To keep the text clear, I used opaque clouds under key details and adjusted the colours to align with the brand’s vibe. Looking back, there are aspects I’d refine, but this design successfully conveyed the cheerful, community-driven spirit of the event and helped draw people out to support the market in August.
This poster was crafted for a band’s gig event and marked my first project using Adobe Illustrator. The band requested their logo stretched across the design, with the members’ names integrated within it. Above the logo, I included an illustration of the band members, created from reference photos I had taken previously. For the drummer, I improvised by outlining my own arms and combining them with another photo of the drummer seated at the drum kit, as no suitable images existed. The gig venue, a beloved local spot, was prominently displayed above the illustration, with the date placed just underneath. Final details included “Free Entry” text and my logo at the bottom.
