This poster was designed for a Girls Skate Night at Ralph’s House, giving me the opportunity to dive deeper into my illustrative side. The central illustration features a skater on a skateboard, and to add more visual interest, I created a border filled with skateboards, skates, and tickets. A dark pink circle behind the skater ensures the illustration pops against the design. Although this was one of my early projects, I feel the placement of event details, such as the date, description, and donation information, worked well. The unique title font has an urban feel, perfectly complementing the skate culture vibe.
This design was created for a mental health foundation supporting alternative musicians who have struggled with mental health or lost their lives to it. The project aligned with my values and passion for this cause, stemming from my love of alternative music. I designed five poster iterations for their “Roll 100 Miles in August” fundraising event, encouraging participants to bring skateboards, bikes, or scooters. Sticking to their brand colours, fonts, and assets, I crafted a visually striking layout using impactful imagery to capture attention. Though the designs weren’t used, this project was a meaningful opportunity to support a cause close to my heart.

This logo design for Blackpool Style Assembly was a fun and creative project, featuring playful bubble letters that seamlessly mold together. Inspired by Florence Given’s font and design work, I enjoyed shaping each letter to complement one another while maintaining a balanced look. The purple color scheme offers both dark and light options, alongside black and white variations for versatility. With “Blackpool” at the top, the design highlights the local significance of the event, emphasizing its connection to the people of Blackpool. This logo perfectly blends boldness, creativity, and community spirit.

This is the first stage banner I’ve designed, created for the band The Cherished Times. As a religious band, they wanted a welcoming, uplifting design that reflected their music while ensuring they stood out during performances. The glowing sunset, with radiant light beams at its centre, creates a focal point that highlights the band members. A gradient from darker tones at the top to brighter tones in the centre enhances this effect, while birds, layered clouds, and warm colours evoke a serene, heavenly atmosphere. After revisions from the initial concept, the band loved the final design, which now features at their gigs—a proud achievement for me as a designer.
I designed these tickets for a surprise country and western-themed birthday event, where I had full creative freedom, which made the project both fun and rewarding. This was my first time designing tickets, so I focused on ensuring the crucial event details—such as the band name, “Hank and the Hotdogs,” and the venue, Horden Comrades Club—were clear and well-integrated into the design. I kept the colour scheme muted to maintain a rustic feel, while highlighting key elements like cacti and stars, which are iconic in country and western culture. The design came together to capture the event’s vibe, and I printed and mailed the tickets in-house, delivering a personalised touch to the client.
This banner was a commission for Gloom 139, an events company that hosts gigs at various venues. They reached out to me to create a stage banner for their performances, featuring their logo and branding. My task was to apply their logo to the appropriate-sized design, ensuring the backdrop color complemented their brand perfectly. Along with the design, I also helped Gloom 139 find the best printing options to ensure the final product met their quality and budget needs. This banner is now a prominent part of their stage setup, bringing their branding to life at every event!
This roller banner design was created for Helping Hearts, a community-focused organisation supporting individuals across Blackpool and the Fylde. It highlights their wide range of services, including crisis support, food banks, clothing banks, counseling, therapy, and more. The banner features a QR code for donations, making it easy for the community to contribute to sustaining these vital services. It also includes the logo of their funding regulator to ensure transparency and meet legal requirements. This large, eye-catching design has been placed within a local McDonald’s alongside a poster displayed on a donation box, making it a powerful tool for raising awareness. Not only does this design spread the word about Helping Hearts and their mission, but it also promotes the values and dedication behind my work as a designer, helping to connect the community with businesses that make a difference.
This logo was designed for Spring Wells, a band looking to establish their first piece of branding. Their brief included incorporating leaves, a bold and visible font, and a touch of 90s inspiration through curved typography. To personalise the design, I connected letters like the “w” and “p” as well as the “n” and “g,” creating a seamless and dynamic flow. The colour scheme featured gradients of light and dark green paired with white, chosen to complement the leafy elements without detracting from the bold text. I added shadows for depth and dimension, ensuring the design stood out. At the client’s request, I provided two versions: one with a clean background and another featuring a textured grey brick backdrop, where the leaves were subtly blended to maintain a cohesive yet eye-catching aesthetic.
This banner design was created for a school’s Forest School and afterschool club, aiming to be playful and engaging for kids walking by. I included fun elements like ladybugs, butterflies, and snails, with a handwritten font that gives the design a quirky, inviting feel. The message “Inspiring each other to shine” was featured alongside circular information blocks, balancing the design with both text and images. A foliage background with different shades of green and leaf types added depth without overcrowding, making the design vibrant yet clear. Although the opportunity didn’t unfold as planned, I thoroughly enjoyed the creative process and everything I learned from it.
This logo is a passion project I worked on for a coffee shop and co-working space concept called Sips. The design is simple yet effective—a coffee mug half-filled to represent the idea of “sipping” and staying as long as you’d like. I incorporated the letters “i” and “p” within the mug, with the two “s” letters on either side, creating a balanced and symmetrical design. I also played with the size of the “p,” making it slightly larger than the “i” to give the effect of uneven coffee levels, adding a touch of personality. Along with the logo, I designed several branding elements, like a croissant and coffee beans, to complement the overall feel of the brand.
This logo was one of my early designs, created for a band called Death Thrash. Using Canva and the illustrating tool on my touchscreen laptop, I focused on crafting a bold and detailed circular design. The background features a striking 90s-style fire illustration in complementary purple tones, rising from the base to create depth and a 3D effect. At the centre, I placed one of my first illustrations—a gothic-inspired skull symbolising death. To personalise it further, I added horns, a crescent moon on the forehead, and blood dripping from the eyes, introducing a vivid pop of colour and focal points that tie into the band’s aesthetic. The intricate cross-hatching and shading on the skull showcase my attention to detail, especially considering this was drawn using just my finger on a laptop screen.
This logo was created for The Bare Minimum (TBM) and was my first design using Adobe software, marking a big step forward in my creative journey. The band wanted an improved version of their existing logo, incorporating a cohesive layout for “TBM” and a bold glitch effect. I started by refining the layout to ensure the letters fit seamlessly, adding a 3D depth effect for more character. I then utilised the negative space within the logo to include their full band name, ensuring it was balanced and impactful. The glitch effect was a new challenge, and I achieved it by adding a blue inner trim and a pink outer trim, manipulating these layers in Photoshop to create a dynamic, distorted appearance. To enhance the effect further, I added fine coloured lines near the gaps of the pink and blue trims. While I’ve since developed more advanced techniques, the band was thrilled with the outcome, and it remains a significant project in my early design portfolio.
This logo design was a commission for a band called The Liabilities, incorporating red, orange, and black as requested. With five band members, I creatively used a tally mark to represent them, with the “ILIT” letters integrated into the logo. The tally mark was formed using the “T,” and I carefully balanced the colors to highlight key elements while keeping others subtly visible. I also created a secondary logo using the tally mark, ideal for merchandise like drum kits or gig backdrops. Additionally, I designed a brand pattern with the secondary logo, perfect for social media and other branding uses, adding depth with a drop shadow to ensure the design stands out.
